VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Psychology Internship Program

 

 

                This web page is for individuals interested in applying for a Psychology Internship with the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System.  U.S. citizens who are pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited or CPA-accredited institution are encouraged to apply. To be considered, students must demonstrate completion of at least three years of graduate course work and a minimum of 450 hours of practicum experience including assessment and intervention with a range of psychopathology across varied populations and settings. Applicants must be certified as ready for internship by their Director of Training. Only 52-week full-time internships are available.

 

The VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System provides an internship training program that is APA-accredited.  There are 4 available positions, 2 General Track positions and 2 Health Psychology Track positions.
